La ciminiera is a Roman cuisine restaurant located in Alzano.If you missed your holiday in Rome, this is an excellent trattoria where you can console yourself and take a journey through the flavors of the capital.First of all we started with a platter of mixed Roman appetizers, a little spicy and strong.We tried their tasty typical pastas: carbonara, cacio e pepe and gricia. If you are a carbonara lover, you will surely lick your chops!For the second course we ordered the Roman saltimbocca, the fried lamb and the characteristic oxtail. All three delicious, but the oxtail with that dusting of cocoa is truly special.Finally, for dessert you can never miss a nice tiramisu and slices of chocolate salami.In short, a perfect place if you are tired of the usual Lombard cuisine and want to taste some of the goodness of the eternal city.

I ate in this restaurant for the first time today, to be precise taking advantage of the "business lunch" menu.I ate very well, generous portions, dishes different from the usual restaurants with business lunch menus. simple but welcoming environment, very friendly and helpful staff. The bill is equally pleasant, as in my opinion it is within everyone's reach and very economical, considering the quantity and quality of the dishes served.I recommend it to those who want to eat well, spending little, and above all enjoying different flavors from the usual restaurants that apply the work menu. The preparation times and the fact that the table, despite there being 9 of us, was served at the same time!! We will definitely be back! Totally in love with this restaurant! I ended up going more than once, for dinner and lunch, and had the chance to try several items from the menu (pollo con i peperoni, tortelli cremaschi, bruschetta, pasta cacio and pepe...) and absolutely everything was delicious! Totally recommend getting the full menu, it will be worth it. Besides that, the place is super clean, tidy and the staff is extremely friendly!Strongly recommend getting the pollo con i peperoni with the patate al forno, great combination!
